Looking for new and refreshing social media content? Try turning a blog post into vertical media that can be uploaded to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts! There are plenty of online applications (free and paid) such at CapCut and Canva that can help you create engaging content to attract new followers.

We recently created a social media marketing campaign to promote the website Gameverse.com. The campaign was launched around Halloween so we incorporated lots of horror content into the mix. For this particular post, an article titled Which Horror Video Game Would You Rather Try To Survive? was converted into a video post with graphics, text, and scary music with a beat.

How To Get Started!

If you have an interesting blog post text with pictures you already have some content that can be translated to social media. Think about the most important text in your article. Can you break it down into eye-catching bullet points? Now, consider how well the text can read aloud and placed over a music track.

You can add audio and dialogue using a video application on your phone or PCs. CapCut, Canva, Adobe Rush, and YouTube Studio are some of the best options. If you have a microphone you can record audio using your voice. Or, use AI-generated voices to read your text. Background music is also great! Just be sure to use songs that are pre-approved, free-to-use, or royalty free.

If your video gets flagged for copyright infringement, it’s likely you used a song that is protected. Just recreate the video with a different song and try again! YouTube is particularly stringent when it comes to audio rights. You might also consider shortening the audio clip and mixing with a second clip.

Now, get creating!
