Poster design proposal for the annual Innings Festival. The yearly event welcomes music lovers and passionate baseball fans to get together for a 2-day festival in Tempe, AZ. This design incorporates the Arizona desert landscape with a baseball-style font, paired with a modern/retro-looking font to list all the artists.

What’s the connection? Arizona, as well as being the home of the Diamondbacks, hosts MLB Spring Training across the valley in what is called the Cactus League. Half of the MLB’s teams including the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, and Chicago Cubs all come to Arizona from February through March to practice for the upcoming season.
